Noun

a word that is the name of a person, a place, or a thing (e.g. John, Park, Pen)

a word which is used instead of a noun or a noun phrase (e.g. I, you, he, she, it, we, or they, the land owner)

Adjective

a word that describes a noun or a pronoun (e.g. a tall man, a big house, a red pen)

a word or phrase that describes an action, experience, state (e.g. walk, think, happen, or exist)

Adverb

a word or phrase that describes or gives more information about a verb, adjective, adverb or phrase and often used to show time, manner, place, or degree (e.g. now, gently, here, early, very)

Preposition

a word or group of words, such as after, in, to, at, from, and with, used before a noun or pronoun to show place, position, time or method

Conjunction

a word (such as “and, but, although, because, and when”) that joins together words, phrases, clauses, and sentences

a word or phrase which is used to express emotions or sudden bursts of feeling (e.g. hey, wow, oh, yeah)
