capture someone’s heart (to make someone fall in love with you): I hope to capture her heart and make her my bride at last.

chicken hearted (fearful, cowardly): If you’re so chicken-hearted, you shouldn’t have come out with us.

close to your heart (something important to you): Human welfare is a subject so close to my heart.
